Abstract Submission

We are now accepting Abstracts for Poster presentation during YAS 2024. Abstracts should be a single paragraph of text with no more than 250 words. Abstracts will be made available to all participants in the conference booklet. The content of the abstract will be presented through a Poster during the dedicated sessions so that you can share your work with all the

Young Algaeneers in an informal environment during the coffee breaks. 

N.B. Posters won’t be selected. We would like everyone to be able to share his/her work.

However, >100 posters, a selection based on the quality of the abstracts will be made due to the space availability.

The deadline for abstract submission is 15th of April and 29th of February for participants applying for the Overseas scholarship.

Please use the Template for the abstract and save it as FirstName_LastName.docx. Submit it through the registration form by choosing “Yes” for the question “I would like to present a poster” and enclose the attachment. Submission through email will not be accepted. Please send us the abstract only in Word format!

You can also download the Poster presentation guidelines. You need to print your poster in A0 portrait orientation with a width of 84.1cm (33.1 inches) and a length of 118.9cm (46.8 inches) before the event and bring it with you to the venue. When you arrive, you can locate the designated area for poster placement and find your poster number to ensure it is displayed in the correct spot.

As for the last edition, a vote will be organized to award the best poster of YAS 2024. The winner will receive a special gift from our Sponsors!!!!
