Event Information

The 8th edition of YAS 2024 will be hosted in the Université Bretagne Sud in Vannes, Brittany from 27 to 30th of May 2024. Brittany has a long history in  seaweeds harvesting and this combines well with our objective to improve seaweeds presence in YAS, along with microalgae.

During YAS24 you will get the chance to meet your peers, discuss your ideas in the social time, meet pioneers in the field from academia and industry, and listen to their talks. We will also have the chance to visit microalgae and seaweed local companies.

One of the novelties of YAS24 is the Innovation competition, the stage will be yours to present your crazy idea to solve a bottleneck in the field. You can also share your work in a Poster presentation, where the best one voted by the audience will be awarded with an Algae prize!

Of course, a typical social dinner will be organized for you to get into the Breton vibes and break the ice!
