Then, step into the spotlight at the 2nd YAS Innovation Competition. We encourageyou to participate, regardless of the stage or scale of your idea and present it to other Young Algaeneers at YAS25!
On this edition there will be an online phase, in which participants submit a 5-min pitch video presentation. The top 3-winners will win each one free YAS ticket and pitch lively in Almeria !
What to Expect:
- Pitch your unique business idea in microalgae and/or seaweed.
- Engage with peers, experts, and potential collaborators in a spirited and supportive environment.
- Gain recognition within the algae community and have your work celebrated. - Potentially win one of our prizes

Online phase
- Top 3 ideas will be selected and earn a free YAS25 ticket.
Live phase at YAS25
- 1st place: 500€ and mentoring hours with business experts
- Most-voted by Public: Free YAS26 ticket
- All 3 teams: Recognition through YAS 2025 communication channels; certificate of participation in the Innovation Competition
