PhycoClub is a friendly, open community for anyone interested in phycology, whether you work with microalgae, cyanobacteria, seaweeds, or are simply curious about them. We welcome students, early-career researchers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts from all backgrounds.

We aim to create an informal space to share new research, exchange ideas, and support one another. We run monthly PhycoFriday seminars and occasional workshops or in-person events, all organised by a small team of volunteers.

PhycoClub also builds links with other groups and networks worldwide, helping our members connect across disciplines and explore new opportunities. Membership is free and open to everyone. If you’re interested in algae in any form, you’re very welcome to join us.
