After a three-year break, the 5th edition of the Young Algaeeners Symposium took place virtually, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. YAS 2021 was held from 10 to 12 May, 2021, with the support of the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA).
In this edition, 70 attendees gave their voice to the challenges that algae sector has been facing and showed solutions after in-depth discussions within the different steering groups.
Although the event was online, the young algaeneers could have an informal get-together time on Wonder, a social platform.
