For this edition of YAS, young algaeneers will take the stage to deliver oral presentations in a unique and engaging format that sets us apart from traditional conferences. The presentations will be organized into five dynamic sessions:
- Cultivation
- Processing
- Physiology and Genetic Engineering
- Applications
- Sustainability
Each session, lasting 1 hour, will feature six presenters delivering concise 5-minute talks with 2 minutes for questions. Then, all presenters will discuss a relevant question regarding the session topic in an interactive roundtable format. This discussion will encourage open dialogue between the audience and the speakers, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and deeper engagement with the topics presented.
Please note: naturally, we will not be able to fit everyone in the talks (which is unfortunate) so we will establish an external scientific committee for abstract evaluation.
