YAS 2018 (OBAN, SCOTLAND)

The 4th edition of the Young Algaeneers Symposim was held in Oban, Scotland, from 16 to 18 May, 2018. Since YAS was co-organized with GlobalSeaweedSTAR, for the first time seaweeds entered YAS programme.

More than 75 young algaeneers were gathered to share their research by talks and posters, exchanging knowledges and ideas through the working groups discussions, with many opportunities of networking with other young algaeeners.

The attendees had a great time at the Ceilidh social event, dancing the  traditional Scottish music.
